kind of an eyesore

the gameplay is clever, although a little slow with a shallow learning curve(a little TOO shallow) but my biggest complaint is in the graphics.
All those waving hexagons are just a pain in the ass to look at, man. You really need some sort of an option allowing the player to keep everything still as opposed to wobbling all over the place, 'cause nobody wants to look at this seizure inducing mess of hexagons. Nobody.

the name confuses me, but the game amuses me.

The combination of a cave runner and a run 'n' gun shooter would've sounded like a far shot awhile ago, but this game has made me think otherwise. Lovely graphics, clever weapon design, great music, epic gameplay, really no issues whatsoever with this game. It would've been cool if it also had an endless mode, but I'm more than satisfied with what's already in the game.

Glad you found something to your taste! As for the name explanation... well, you'll have to beat the game to find out

great, but glitchy.

It's an absolutley WONDERFUL game, but in the end, has a few problems. Let's start with the good, though.
-epic voice acting
-clever level design
-unique gimmick
as for the less than good, I managed to find my way to level 16 and got to the spiral, where Joe ran out of time and unfortunatley died. However, instead of restarting like he should have, he just froze up in his little circular sprite that you see right before the boom and nothing else happened from there. I decided to refresh the page and start over from the "auto save" you claimed to have made, but there was no continue button. In short, insta-rage quit and serious points off.

functional, yes. Fun, no.

It's an incredibly solid game with nice music, pleasing visuals, and an easy gameplay to get into. Sadly, there's really no challenge(at least not one I had the patience to reach) and the pacing of the game is faaaaar too slow. Had there been a bit more speed and a more scaling difficulty, this would be an easy 9. Sadly, it's lack of fun factor makes it a generous 7.

wonderful

simple, pretty, relaxing, and most importantly, FUN! you've done a wonderful job on this little title.

youve done it well, but others have done it better

The game is actually pretty solid. As far as platform shooters go, all became zombies is enjoyable, if not a bit clunky in it's platforming assets, mainly just the awkward jump.
In the end, though, the graphics are nice, the gameplay works, and the BGM is absolutley wonderful.

brilliant

absolutley brilliant - so simple, and so challenging. Mixed in with that classy cuboy humor and it's a perfect game. n_n

thanks matey, that means a lot

framerate issues...

...did not exist. wierd. I'm ansolutley amazed to find how smoothly super drift ran on my 13 year old dinosaur of a computer. I never noticed any sort of lag or slowdown, which was absolutley amazing! Sadly, this game lacks in a few areas - firstly, controls feel a bit sensetive. It's far too easy to oversteer, which is a massive issue in a game that relies on drifting and precision control. Secondly, the lack of different musical selections was a bit dissapointing. I'm sure it wouldn't have been that difficult to include a few other songs to listen to on the car radio? My final and very minor complaint is the lack of content. There could have been a few more tracks and vehicle selections, but there are enough to keep hardcore racing fans coming back to finish speedlaps and the like. Overall, you have an absolutley INCREDIBLE engine for 3D gameplay (despite a steering wheel that needs some tweaking), just not enough game to actually be played.

effective, but slippery

I enjoyed the idea and found some fun level design , but I felt that the grid was a bit too sensitive. I can't describe how frustrating it is to die of a spike block just because my character accidentally pushed a block too far. There should really be a brief pause every time the character reaches a new grid square.

DivineGames responds:

Thanks for the feedback!
If you want to move accurately, you can just press the direction key and immediately release it, the character will automatically move to the next square and you don't risk dying.

clever.

I certainly enjoyed myself, but my one complaint was in the sensitivity to spelling. I was certain my first shilloette was of Charlie Chaplain, but I couldn't get the spelling of the name just right and therefore couldn't properly score. Aside from that, this is a simple game, but it works quite well.
